By the legendary World Champion Furst Heinrich sadly died aged only 7 Furst Opera is the spitting image of his sire. Those of you who were lucky enough to see Furst Heinrich will agree this jet black son is cast in the same elegant and uphill mould as his father.
He has a stunning jump, being incredibly scopey and careful over his fences. He has been used by the Eventing community on lighter mares to add a little more bone and to give more lift in their movement which comes from his uniquely balanced canter on the flat and to a fence. He was the first horse ever in British Breeding History to score a perfect ten at The British Equestrian Federation Young Horse Evaluations, and this was as a Dressage Horse - scoring a perfect ten for type (click here for BEF Press release).
He has an almost "pet-like" temperament which made him a particular favourite when he was based at West Kington Stud and with the owner of the sister of Eventing Legend Mr Prakatan.
He will breed stunning Eventing, Dressage & Show horses, which should inherit his excellent movement and record winning paces. Furst Opera is a true dual purpose stallion who excels on the flat and over fences.
He is available on a very restricted basis only in 2009
