Out of a full TB Primitive Rising mare, Classic Primitive is the ultimate modern Eventing & Showing Sire. With a B.E.F. Event Championship (Arena UK), BEF Reserve SJ Championship (Arena UK) - leading to the highest aggregate score ever across two disciplines, a British Dressage Breeding Championships placing and a PAVO Championship to his name he forms part of a new generation of Eventing Stallions standing here in the UK.
Classic Primitive is exceptionally brave with a can do attitude and a very bold jump. On his sires side, his pedigree goes back to the forefathers of Cavalier Royale who continues to have an outstanding impact on English and Irish Event Horse performances. On his dam's side, Primitive Rising needs no introduction with his prolific progreny in the Show Ring, as Burghley Young Event Horses and as proven Three Day Eventers here and abroad.
RIHS & BYEH Judge Stuart Campbell said of him "He has an outstandingly good temperament". "He has a real ability to work in a collected way. He has good open movement from his shoulder and great engagement from behind" . Of his confirmation Stuart said "Classic Primitive has lovely limbs, completely in proportion with open feet - he is technically correct".
He has the walk of a good racehorse and coupled with elevated paces, which were a favourite with Henrietta Knight and the Hon Hooper Cavendish at the British Eventing Breeding Championships at Tweseldown.
He has been booked to 3 and 4 star Event mares again this year along with Showing & Hunter mares who need more elegant paces and lightness of bone, coupled with greater turn under foot.
